Grammar school Gimnazija Šentvid has enjoyed a 70-year-long tradition of being different from others in many respects, but is also clearly aware of the importance of knowledge and its application in today's life and work. Nevertheless, it is also a school of people and their relationships, a school of common endeavours and cooperation. Our students are not concerned only with gaining bookish knowledge, but also life experience and values. Sports and healthy life-style are just the first among them, whereas art, research and the awareness of European connectedness are all activities of the same quality.
We are aware of the fact that modern technology enables an insight into all the available data right from the home computer, however, we should not and will not neglect live and direct contact. For this reason, you are most welcome to consult your relatives and acquaintances who already know our school, or you can visit us and get introduced to our students and teachers.
